I am pleased to announce that I have recently earned my Green designation.
The National Association of Realtors (NAR) ‘Green Designation’ is the only NAR-recognized real estate designation designed for residential, commercial and property management professionals looking to learn about issues of energy efficiency and sustainability in the various facets of real estate.
As consumer demand for knowledge on these issues increase, so will awareness of green issues. My interest in green construction has grown in the past few years, and it started with constrution of our cabin/home on the Olympic peninsula. That home is a work in process, but green construction methods are always considered as that project moves towards completion.
While new construction is the easiest way to incorporate green building into a new home, there are a number of ways to go green during a renovation project as well. I am happy to discuss these possiblities as I help you with the your purchase of a new home.
